Encore at Wynn Las Vegas (or often just called Encore) is a luxury resort, casino and hotel located on the Las Vegas Strip that opened in December 2008. The resort is connected to its sister resort, Wynn Las Vegas; and both are owned by Wynn Resorts Limited, headed by casino developer Steve Wynn. Originally envisioned as an expansion of Wynn Las Vegas, Encore quickly became a full-scale five-star level resort. It shares resources and is connected to the Wynn resort via a shopping arcade.
The resort features a 74,000-square-foot casino, a large retail space in “The Esplanade”, a spa and salon, five restaurants, seven bars, and a few amazing nightclubs. The building has 63 floors, making it three floors higher than Wynn Las Vegas. When it comes to cuisine, the restaurants here are amazing. You can have a great Italian meal at Chef Theo Schoenegger’s Sinatra’s , or you can enjoy some Asian cuisine at Chef Jet Tila’s Wazuzu. If you’re in the mood for steak? Good news because there’s Mark LoRusso’s Botero Steak. If that isn’t enough, there’s Marc Poidevin’s Switch, which has some of the best seafood platters around, and a French inspired cuisine that will leave you wanting more, (not to mention some decor-rotations that will happen mid-meal that have to be seen to be believed!) Lastly, you can stop by for Chef Kim Canteenwalla’s take on a classic American cuisine in the Society Cafe.
