Caesars Palace is a luxury hotel and casino located on the west side of the Strip, between the Bellagio and the Mirage. One of the more well-known hotels in Las Vegas, this casino’s central location, in addition to the rich history of top notch entertainment over the years, makes Caesars a true destination in Las Vegas.
Caesars has 3,348 rooms in five towers: Augustus, Centurion, Roman, Palace, and Forum. The Forum tower features guest suites with 1,000 square feet of space. It is also the only venue in Las Vegas to host the World Series of Poker Circuit Event. In 2000, Caesars opened the Plaza, an open-air area with celebrity chef Bradley Ogden’s restaurant, and the Colosseum, where Céline Dion and Elton John were regular performers. The Colosseum was specifically built for Dion’s show, A New Day…, a large-scale production that was put together by former Cirque du Soleil director Franco Dragone, which was sold out on a regular basis.
Caesars Palace opened the Augustus Tower in August 2005. It stands 46 floors high and is perpendicular to the Strip. Caesar’s also has a rich history with Hollywood films, and it was featured prominently in the 2009 hit The Hangover.
When it comes to restaurants, Caesars offers a slew of choices. There’s Rao’s, an award-winning spectacular Italian restaurant, which overlooks the pools, and they also have a patio situated around a fountain. The legendary celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck works his culinary magic at Spago in the Forum Shops. If you’re looking for French cuisine there’s the Payard Patisserie Bistro. which has a chocolate shop as well. Caesars has plenty of shopping indulgences in the Forum Shops, as well as additional restaurants as well.
