The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is located on the corner of Harmon and Paradise Road in Las Vegas, and is and is the world’s first “rock ‘n’ roll hotel and casino”. If you’re a rock & roll fan, and want to get your party on in Las Vegas? Look no further. Features of the property include the hotel tower, a 30,000-square-foot (2,800 m2) casino, Tahitian-style beach and swimming pool, a nightclub, five restaurants, three cocktail lounges, several retail stores, a spa, a poker room, and “The Joint”, a music venue. Some of the key features of The Hard Rock include an 11-story tower with 648 guestrooms, 64 suites, designed by Mark Zeff, and penthouses. The hotel has a 30,000-square-foot casino that includes table games including, blackjack, roulette, and poker, and swim-up blackjack. The casino also features the Fender Room, a high-limit slot machine room and the Peacock Lounge, a high-limit gaming room. As well as some great restaurants, including Nobu, which is a Japanese, Michelin Star Restaurant, Rare 120 – which moonlights as a modern American Steakhouse. Ago – which functions as a contemporary Italian restaurant, Mr. Lucky’s and the Pink Taco.

The Hard Rock also boasts a great pool party, Rehab which is the original pool party in Las Vegas. Each Sunday during pool season, the Beach Club at the Hard Rock transforms into a massive outdoor party. Thousands of revellers attend each week and party from morning till night (the party runs from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM)

The Venetian

The Venetian is a luxury hotel and casino resort located between Harrah’s and The Palazzo on the east side of the Las Vegas Strip. This hotel & casino is part of the largest five-diamond hotel and resort complex in the world with 4,049 suites, 4,059 hotel rooms, and a 120,000-square-foot casino.
To say the Venetian “has a Venetian theme” would be putting it mildly. This amazing property is complete with frescos, gourmet food, canals, gondolas and strolling performers as well. In addition to an amazing shopping experience, you can take a stroll around and just marvel at the sights. The Venetian is one of the few Las Vegas properties that you can take half a day in, and wander around aimlessly, and still have a blast. The size of the property and the sights/vibe are really like no other hotel on the strip.

At the Venezia Tower, the rooms have large suites that boast incredibly high ceilings, and plenty of luxuries not found in other Vegas hotels. Vdara

Vdara is a condo-hotel with a spa on the Las Vegas Strip. A part of CityCenter, it is located between the ARIA Resort & Casino and the Bellagio.
The Vdara towers 57 stories above the Las Vegas Strip. All 1,495 hotel suites feature a gourmet kitchen, and many suites have a washer and dryer. The Vdara is one of the new generation properties on the Strip that has no theme and was built strictly as a luxury resort destination. It also contains no gambling casino, though some of the most famous casinos in the world are within a block or two of the entrance. If you’re curious about the name, The “V” stands for “Vegas” and “ara” is meant to evoke “other established high-end boutique hotels”, such as the Aviara or Vicara.
The windows in the Vdara reveal a lot of natural light and amazing views of the city and the surrounding mountains. There is also 10,000 square feet of banquet space on the property, which can accommodate up to 400 guests. If you’re interested in a stylish location, and don’t want a casino to distract you from your stay, the Vdara makes an exquisite choice.

Tropicana

Tropicana is a hotel casino located right on the Las Vegas Strip. It offers 1,375 rooms and is attached to a 50,000 sq ft casino. The Tropicana Las Vegas also has 100,000 sq ft of convention and exhibit space as well.The location of the hotel, right at Tropicana – Las Vegas Boulevard intersection, is fairly busy. Pedestrians are not permitted to cross at street level. Instead, the Tropicana is linked by overhead pedestrian bridges to its neighboring casinos: to the North across Tropicana Avenue, the MGM Grand Las Vegas, and to the west across the Strip, the Excalibur.
If you’re into basking at the pool with a couple of drinks, you’ll have a lot to look forward to with the “Nikki Beach Club” and “Club Nikki”. The beach club includes a restaurant, outdoor cafe & bar, swim-up blackjack, sand volleyball courts and a private island in the center of the pool. The beach club also includes an outdoor concert space where Tropicana will provide entertainment, including musicians from around the globe. The brand new 15,000-square-foot Club Nikki will feature an ultra-lounge and beach area as well. If you’re looking for a taste of old Vegas that’s successfully re-invented itself, take a trip to Tropicana.

Treasure Island

Treasure Island (also known as simply “TI”) is a hotel and casino located on the Las Vegas Strip. This hotel & casino boasts some 2,664 rooms, 220 suites, and is connected by tram to The Mirage as well as pedestrian bridge to the Fashion Show Mall shopping center.
The resort opened with the free “Buccaneer Bay” show in a large man-made lake fronting the resort along the Las Vegas Strip. Presented several times nightly with a large cast of stunt performers, the show depicted the landing and subsequent sacking of a Caribbean village by pirates, serving to attract gamblers from the strip and into the casino after each show in the same fashion as its predecessor, the Wynn-conceived volcano fronting The Mirage casino. Notable special effects included a full-scale, manned pirate ship that sailed nearly the full width of the property, a gas-fired “powder magazine” explosion, pyrotechnics, and the sinking to the bottom of the sailing ship “Brittania” along with its captain.

In 2003, “Buccaneer Bay” was replaced with “Sirens’ Cove” and the new show, “The Sirens of TI” utilizing many of the technical elements of its predecessor. The live, free show was intended to appeal more to adults by including singing, dancing, audio-visual effects, bare-chested pirates and attractive women in the large outdoor show produced by Kenny Ortega.
Treasure Island is also home to Cirque du Soleil’s Mystère, which revolutionized stage shows on the Las Vegas Strip and introduced the entertainment style of Franco Dragone. The show opened in 1993 as the original Cirque du Soleil production in Las Vegas. Mystère has been voted nine times as the best production show in the city by the Las Vegas Review Journal reader’s poll. The hotel has received the AAA Four Diamond rating each year since 1999. While the hotel has gone from a purely kid-friendly theme to more adult friendly with the recent inclusion of a party bar & nightclub, Treasure Island has a lot to offer.

The Stratosphere

The Stratosphere is a tower, hotel, and casino located on the Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas, Nevada. Its tower is also the tallest observation tower, and the 5th-tallest structure, in the United States, as well as being the tallest structure in Las Vegas. The top of the tower has two observation decks, a restaurant known as “Top of the World” (revolving restaurant), and four thrill rides:
* Big Shot at 1,081 ft is the highest thrill ride in the world.
* Insanity, opened in 2005, at 900 ft is the second highest thrill ride in the world; it dangles riders over the edge of the tower and then spins in a circular pattern at approximately forty miles per hour
* SkyJump Las Vegas, a controlled descent, Bungee jumping-like ride that will allow riders to plummet 855 ft attached to a high speed, descent wire. SkyJump opened on April 20, 2010.
* X-Scream at 866 ft is the third highest thrill ride in the world
The 80,000-square-foot casino includes approximately 50 table games, 1,500 slot and video poker machines, a poker room, and a race and sports book. Located in downtown Las Vegas, The Statosphere gives you a great view of the city, and there’s no other view like it anywhere.

Rio

Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino is a hotel & casino located in Southwest Las Vegas. The Rio was the first all suite resort in the Las Vegas area (when it opened in 1990), and it was named after the city of Rio de Janeiro, and is influenced by Brazilian culture.
The hotel towers are covered in the signature purple and red glass. The Rio hotel’s 2,522 suites range in size from 600 to 13,000 sq ft and have floor to ceiling windows. There are several private villas on property as well. If you’re into wine, we have good news for you. The Rio has a fantastic wine cellar that has more than 50,000 bottles. The Rio Pavilion convention center has a total of 160,000 sq ft of space, and a Race and Sports Book is also available.
Masquerade Village is a section of the hotel that includes Show in the Sky. The show is a free show that features dance and style from Brazilian Carnival, and Mardi Gras floats. T he show has a stage with a dance and singing show while floats on guide rails hang from the ceiling and go throughout the Masquerade Village. Penn & Teller are doing an extended residency at the Rio, and there’s a great nightlife choice as well with Voodoo Lounge. For the a taste of Rio in Las Vegas, the Rio makes a fine choice.

The Cosmopolitan

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is a luxury resort casino and hotel located just south of the Bellagio on the west side of the Las Vegas Strip, and consists of two highrise towers. With a central location right across from Planet Hollywood, it’s safe to say that luxury and style in Vegas are reaching new heights thanks to The Cosmopolitan. The resort opened on December 15, 2010. The $3.9 billion project features 2,995 rooms; a 75,000 sq ft casino; 300,000 sq ft of retail and restaurant space; a 40,000 sq ft spa and fitness facility; a 1,800 seat theater; and 150,000 sq ft of meeting/convention space.
Upon it’s opening in Dec 2010, The Cosmopolitan became part of Marriott International’s Autograph Collection, a collection of independent hotels with access to Marriott’s enormous reservation and rewards system. Circus Circus

Circus Circus is a hotel & casino located on North side of the Strip. One of the more historic hotels in Las Vegas, it features circus acts and Midway entertainment, as well as a theme park as well. It was first opened in 1968, complete with a giant circus tent shaped main structure. You also might recognize the Midway from the 1971 James Bond film Diamonds are Forever. This casino was definitely designed with families in mind – with kids-in-tow, and given the amount of circus activity going on, there’s more then enough entertainment here to distract the kids. It’s also one of the more reasonably priced places on the Strip, so if it’s a last minute trip to Vegas, and you want some circus-entertainment to boot? Look no further.
